June 08- Mark and Charlie donated their services to the 'Big Love' festival near Brighton. Big Love was raising funds for the St. Johns Ambulance Service. Mark and Charlie had an excellent day providing walk round magic to a fantastic crowd, culminating in a short 'parlour' set, performing a few illusions including the 'knife through arm' on Rick, the co-organiser - at the request of the organisers friends we must add! The only difficult moment was when one of the bands started sound checking during a mentalism routine.. We didn't see that one coming!

 July 08 - This month saw us (amongst other things) performing at the prestigious London hotel dinner and river boat trip, for the International Association of Arson Investigators (UK chapter) 4 day training conference.

Everyone was really good fun, and Police, Fire Service, and Insurance investigators all joined in to make the event''s networking evenings magical. 

August & September:

The dynamic duo (well Charlie and Mark then!) continued working on a few 'covert' projects. This included building an illusion made popular by Houdini!

October:

The tag-team of magic had two paticularly notable gigs - mix 'n' mingle at Canary Wharf, and a full costume haloween bash aboard the MV Gladys. The duo, along with the debonair magician about town, Scott, all put themselves up for auction. This raised a sack of cash for a local children's charity. Hoorah!

November:

Two Stage illusions tested and ready to go... Looking good, although the late Houdini's reputation as the best won't be threatened quite yet!!

December:

Busy Busy - The Harley Christmas bash saw the magic tag team performing until past 4am.. definitley not clock watchers!

January:

 A heavy month of research, practice, and tweaking to ensure that repeat bookings can see fresh, innovative magic.

February:

The Blackpool international magic convention was attended by the whole team. Several 'jam' sessions lasted into the early hours of the hotel bars. The things we do in the name of our art!
